a3. define the principles of petrophysical characters of rocks and determine the amount of saturation.
a4. demonstrate basic classification of siesmic reflection and refraction waves.
a5. identify the basic density of rocks to investigate the basement surface and inter-prete the local body structures through gravity interpretation.
a6. recognize the different basement rock of the Egyptian basement on basis of the plate tectonics concept through magnetic interpretation.
a7. demonstrate the origin, generation and migration and accumulation of petroleum.
a8. categorize significant physical properties of each subsurface units and measuring the small variations in the gravitational field from point at the surface of the earth.
